Prometrium Benefits

  • Regulation of the menstrual cycle. Prometrium is made with progesterone, a hormone that helps regulate the menstrual cycle. It can help restore normal periods in women who have irregular or absent menstrual cycles.
  • Reduction of the risk of endometrial hyperplasia: Prometrium is often prescribed in combination with estrogen therapy to reduce the risk of endometrial hyperplasia, a condition characterized by the overgrowth of the lining of the uterus. This can help prevent the development of endometrial cancer.

It is important to note that the benefits of Prometrium may vary for each individual, and it is essential to discuss your specific symptoms and medical history with your healthcare provider to determine if this medication is the right fit for you.
