Already Have a Prescription? How to Move It to Pandia

Quick answer: you do not need a new prescription or a new doctor review; send or transfer your existing prescription to Pandia Pharmacy (picked up in the last 3 months) and get free delivery.

A Step by Step Guide to an Easy Transfer

If you’re reading this, you must be wondering how to move over your prescription from your regular pharmacy to us – Pandia Health! First off, we welcome you and are excited that you chose to receive your birth control via our FREE delivery service available to all 50 states! Fear not, for we make transferring your prescription as easy and quick as possible.

When moving a prescription, you don’t need a newly written one; however, if you do need a doctor’s consultation to obtain a prescription, Pandia Health has expert doctors in women’s health that can write prescriptions in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MI, MN, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, and WY.

Transferring a prescription is essentially us taking the data of your prescription from your old pharmacy and sending the information to our partner pharmacy. This allows us to correctly deliver you the correct birth control (note: Pandia can deliver up to a year’s worth of birth control in one order!). If you had a birth control prescription at a pharmacy and have picked up any form of birth control in the past three months, then you are eligible to become a transfer patient!

How to move your prescription to Pandia Health:

  • Sign up and chose transfer my existing prescription
  • Give us your name and date of birth.
  • Tell us the name and address of the pharmacy where you currently fill your prescription (where you pick up your refills).
  • Tell us the name and strength of your birth control, so we can make sure we request the right medication.
  • Provide the shipping address where you would like to refills be sent.
  • Upload a picture of the front and back of your insurance card so we can bill your insurance (we accept most insurances).
    • No insurance? No problem! We have affordable cash prices and will let you choose how many packs you want to get. Pay easy, safe and fast with your credit or debit card!
  • Pandia Health will keep shipping you your birth control to the provided address until you cancel your subscription or your prescription run out. We will contact you with reminders before this happens so you can request your Doctor more refills and make sure you get them on time!

What if I need a new prescription?

Birth control

If you don’t already have a prescription, a Pandia doctor can write one online, with no office visit.

  1. Fill out the health questionnaire. It asks about your goals, health history, and lifestyle so our doctor can recommend the right method for you.
  2. Pay the doctor consultation fee. It’s charged to your card when you finish the questionnaire. Our doctor won’t start reviewing your answers until it’s paid. This fee is always paid out of pocket and is never billed to insurance.
  3. A Pandia doctor reviews your answers. A licensed doctor looks over your answers and prescribes the method that fits you.
  4. We fill and ship it. Pandia Pharmacy bills your insurance for the medication, or you can pay cash. Delivery is free.

Prescriptions can last up to a year. Our partner pharmacy can run your insurance for a year’s worth of refills. If you’re paying out of pocket, our care team will reach out to you with pricing to know what option you want to get. Before you run out, we’ll send a refill reminder so you don’t have to start over.

Menopause care

Starting menopause treatment works a little differently:

  1. Sign up and fill out the health form. Tell us about your symptoms, goals, and health history.
  2. Pay for your care. Chose your membership. This is paid out of pocket and isn’t billed to insurance. FSA and HSA plans are accepted.
  3. A menopause trained doctor builds your plan. They write your prescription as part of a personalized, FDA-approved treatment plan. Pandia doesn’t require lab work or blood tests, though your doctor may recommend them if something specific comes up.
  4. Your medication ships free. We accept most insurance for menopause medication, and the cost depends on your plan.

Once you’re a member, you can message your care team anytime, check back in to adjust your plan, and get refill reminders before you run out. If a doctor outside Pandia already prescribes your treatment, you can transfer it or have them send it to Pandia Pharmacy.
